Once again it is time for news and commentary from around the web you may have missed. I am sure I am not alone in the fact that I do not watch national or local news on tv. Ass a matter of fact, it has been an excess of four years since I sat down and watched some idiot on tv reading talking points under the guise of it being news.
Before getting into the actual news, I just want to share a couple of thoughts. There is an adage, History repeats itself. For along time, I was not sure if that was true or not. However, as I dive into issues and dig deep it is easy to see that it is true. A good example will be after posting my third and final instalment of nationalism and populism. It is hard to distinguish between the Gilded Age in the late 1800’s and what is happening now.
The fact that hardly anything changes is a result of our own makings. We all know things are wrong, we bitch and moan yet, we continue to elect the same people with the same incestuous ideas.
I am not sure about you, but I am so F.N. tired of hearing about racism and CRT. If you believe in the B.S. science, you have major issues. It’s not only in our country, but it also permeates throughout the world. With available technology you can find the same issues in basically the same forms throughout the world.
So, lets begin. When the lock downs began 15 months ago, few knew what the ramifications would be. I think few understood the changes we would encounter in our personal lives. I think few would deny most people would deal with some sort of depression. Personally, I went from someone with extrovert tendencies to some who has become some what introverted. The question becomes who if anyone benefited from the lockdowns?

The rich and powerful thrived as the rest of us suffered in the year of lock downs. Glenn Reynolds -NY Post.

One thing did not change during the year long lock down and that was the corruption and hypocrisy of our political overlords. At a time when race is at the forefront of so much conversation you have the mayor of the third largest city in the U.S. saying she is not going to grant interviews with white journalist. What happened to the conversation we were supposed to have? How was there no outrage? I would love to award Mayor Lightfoot the tittle of Worst Mayor, but the problem is the field is full of many vying to claim that tittle.

With the lockdown, you may be worried about loosing services due to reduced taxes collected. Have no fear. By hook or crook our overlords will continue and fleece us. Make no mistake, they are going to get their money.

“Governing as Looting” in Washington and Beyond. James Bovard -American Institute for Economic Resource

Our elected overlords always want to take credit for the good and not the bad. Truth be told, they have given up their ability to legislate in return for the right to cash a check. So much of what ails us today is a direct result of unaccountable bureaucratic ideas and theories. You see, the bad orange man was right when he talked about the deep state. Weather it is the IRS, EPA or International Agreements like the Balfour Agreement which gives us the Middle Easts problems today, you will find a finger in the pie from an unaccountable bureaucrat.

If you do happen to see the news on television, or you see pictures in newspapers of rioter, looters, and fires you think of Minneapolis or Portland. That is until you see Palm trees and realize its not in either of those two cities. It is the funny writing you see on the protest signs which gives it away. It’s in a different country. We just do not export consumer goods, military equipment, and manufacturing jobs. We also export political activism.

It has been fifteen years since the Palestinian Authority had elections. Where is the outrage? A two-state solution was offered. That is not good enough. Now you have the real news and no Bull Shite, or as Paul Harvey would say, “Now you know the rest of the story”.

See you next week.
